#ClimathonVenice 2022 has come to an end!
Many thanks to all participants, speakers, the jury and the #venicecalls #team to the work we have done in the last months.
Organizing a climathon is a real challenge, a journey of ups and downs, but it is worth for the #communityengagement of the people that can experience an event which raises awareness about #climatechange and its spillover effects.
Venice calls is glad that also this year had the opportunity to be the local organizer! Without the support of the local network it would not be the same impactful event.
For 4 years Venice Calls has promoted the realization of the event to create a greater and more sustainable impact on the local community of Venice.
Venice is a unique city – beautiful and attractive for tourists – fragile and loved by its citizens.
The 2022 challenge has been:
How can energy communities and renewable energies influence the urban regeneration process in fragile socio-economic contexts such as that of Venice and its lagoon?
3 teams won with incredible and inspiring projects.
